Structural Genomics Services to the Scientific Community

As part of the NIAID contract, CSGID and SSGCID offer a protein gene-to-structure service to the infectious disease scientific community. All materials and information generated from these services will be made publicly available. To propose a target for structure determination, please see the organism lists below:

Seattle Structural Genomics Center for Infectious Disease SSGCID target organisms:

  • Actinobacteria (Mycobacterium)
  • Alpha-proteobacteria (Bartonella, Brucella, Ehrlichia, Rickesttsia
  • Beta-proteobacteria (Burkholderia)
  • Spirochaetes (Borrelia)
  • Eukaryotic pathogens (Acanthamoeba, Babesia, Cryptosporidium, Cyclospora, Toxoplasma, Giardia, Entamoeba, Coccidioides, Encephalitozoon)
  • ssDNA virus (Erythrovirus)
  • ssRNA negative-strand viruses ((Filoviridae, Orthomyxoviridae), Arenavirus, Hantavirus, Henipavirus, Lyssavirus, Nairovirus, Orthobunyavirus, Phlebovirus, Rubulavirus)

Center for Structural Genomics of Infectious Disease CSGID target organisms:

  • Bacilli (Bacillus, Listeria, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus
  • Gamma-proteobacteria (Coxiella, Escherichia, Francisella, Salmonella, Shigella, Vibrio, Yersinia)
  • Clostridia (Clostridium
  • Epsilon-proteobacteria (Campylobacter, Helicobacter
  • dsDNA viruses (Orthopoxvirus, Rhadinovirus, Roseolovirus)
  • ssRNA positive-strand viruses ((Calciviridiae), Alphavirus, Coronavirus, Enterovirus, Flavivirus, Hepacivirus, Hepatovirus, Hepevirus)
